Blake Hose
Blake began his sporting career as a triathlete before spending five years as a competitive cyclist. This saw him enduring countless hours in the mountains and open roads across the country. When his love for two wheels began to wane he made the transition to trail running and was winning races within a year. It was a meteoric rise for the young athlete, but to be expected when you’re gifted with a natural talent for the sport. Alongside his inherent ability, Blake possesses a work ethic that comes from having been a cyclist.
Over the last 8 years, Blake has competed across the globe at events like the iconic Mont Blanc Marathon, The North Face Endurance Challenge in San Francisco and the Transvulcania Ultramarathon.
The latter of these events saw him step on the podium in what is one of the best individual trail running performances by an Australian athlete. He’s also represented Australia at the World Skyrunning Championships and won numerous domestic events, such as The Buffalo Stampede and Great Ocean Walk 100. Blake’s passion for running is only surpassed by his love for wildlife. He has recently completed his degree in zoology and is regularly seen on the trails with his dog Walter.
