Parking & Transport

EVENT LOCATION

The start and finish for all events (except the 42km SkyMarathon) will be at:
Pioneer Park Recreation Reserve, 64/72 Coronation Ave, Bright VIC 3741 (Google Maps)

Parking

There will be ample parking available at the event hub at Pioneer Park. We’ll also be providing a map of parking sites closer to the date.

carpooling

Please reach out to the community of runners who will be in Bright to ask for a lift to the Event Village or anywhere you might need to go to crew or change team relay legs. We are creating a Community Facebook Group for this exact reason, to make it easy for people to find a quick lift from the community.

Spectators and Crew

The best way for the crew to make their way around the course is by car. If you don’t have a car you will need to organise a carpool or simply find people at each aid station who are going to the next.

There are many places over the course where spectators and crew can see their runners. Please refer to the interactive CAPRA Map to find the best places to see them.

All Aid Stations are easily accessible in 2WD as well as all roads on Mount Buffalo. The only dirt roads are the last 2 km to the Baker’s Gully Aid Station and from Cresta Valley to the Horn. If you want to drive to Clearspot to spectate or crew, please follow the CAPRA map route to the summit as it can be confusing to find your way.

Getting to the Startline for the SKYMarathon on Sunday March 24

There is a mandatory shuttle service that will take ALL runners in the Sky Marathon 42k on Sunday morning to the start line. Runners will need to arrive at the Event Village at Pioneer Park in time for a 5:20am rolling departure of shuttles to the Mount Buffalo Chalet.

Important: No cars other than SingleTrack Crew will be allowed to turn left at the first big main intersection on Mount Buffalo to go towards the Chalet. Cars will have to either drive back down the mountain or find a park in a further away car park to spectate the race.
