EVENT LOCATION

The start and finish for all events (except the 42km SkyMarathon) will be at:
Pioneer Park Recreation Reserve, 64/72 Coronation Ave, Bright VIC 3741 (Google Maps)

Parking

There will be ample parking available at the event hub at Pioneer Park. We’ll also be providing a map of parking sites closer to the date.

carpooling

Please reach out to the community of runners who will be in Bright to ask for a lift to the Event Village or anywhere you might need to go to crew or change team relay legs. We are creating a Community Facebook Group for this exact reason, to make it easy for people to find a quick lift from the community.

Spectators and Crew

The best way for the crew to make their way around the course is by car. If you don’t have a car you will need to organise a carpool or simply find people at each aid station who are going to the next.

Getting to the Startline for the SKYMarathon on Sunday March 24

New to 2025 is that we are not allowing people to drive up to the start line at the Chalet and park or be dropped off. Every runner in the 42k and Grand Slams MUST pay for and catch the shuttle to the Start line from the Event Village at Pioneer Park in Bright. Shuttles have a rolling departure from 5:20am Sunday.

We have had many requests from some people who get car sick that they drive themselves, so we have a solution. Runners and Crew will be able to Drive and Park at Dingo Dell. Dingo Dell will also be the drop off point for runners who are being dropped off at the start by their crew. Runners CANNOT be dropped off at the Chalet Start line. The road is closed.

Dingo Dell has a large carpark on the Mount Buffalo Tourist Rd. Crew can park here with their runners and catch a rolling shuttle to the start line. SingleTrack will provide a regular shuttle service between Dingo Dell and the Start Line at the Chalet (8 min drive) between 6:15 am and 7:00 am.

Then Crew will be able to return to their cars via a rolling shuttle between The Chalet and Dingo Dell between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM.

This option of driving and parking at Dingo Dell is open to everyone, however there is limited parking so we highly encourage people to catch the shuttle bus.
